The Bird and The Bean: Eden Amelia is One Month Old!

Can you believe it? It's been a whole month since Eden was born! I can honestly say this has been the most challenging month of my entire life but it is getting better and all the hard work certainly has its rewards. Eden is such a delightful baby. She has some issues with gas pains and therefore has to be held a lot but otherwise, she's a really good baby (and obviously the gas is not her fault). She would rather sleep than eat which is really nice when I want to sleep at night but is not so good for my milk supply. It doesn't seem to be affecting her weight gain, though, since she gained 11 ounces in one week (the goal is 1/2 to 1 ounce a day). We had some lost time to make up for & with the help of formula supplementation, she is packing on the ounces! Here is Eden's one month pic and some stats.
